Make-up Like a Woman

Several weeks into my breast growing experiment, when my breast were starting to show obvious indications of enlarging and becoming feminine, my wife took a step which indicated her acceptance of the budding new me. She dragged me into the bathroom and placed me in front of the mirror and began applying make-up to my face. It was fun.

My lovely spouse drew in and then darkened my eyebrows, Next she applied a base, some blush, eye shadow and liner, and of course, lip stick. I certainly did look different. But did I look like a woman? Not exactly, I thought. My self image was not ready to see a different face and pretend to be a woman with out in public. Not yet, anyway.

But I saw that the possibility was there. And with the correct make-up, that better matched my skin color, cheek bone structure and so on, I could look very feminine.

It was entertaining to play make-up with my wife. But to become serious about it, I needed to learn a lot more about make-up. And then experiment to produce my own feminine face.

Women are lucky in this regard: They go through years of make-up training. First they absorb the art from their mothers. And then they practice during slumber parties. Later, they have make-over sessions. They even gather together to re-apply make-up in restaurant bathrooms.

Women spend time at the cosmetic counter of Macy’s or Nordstrom’s, where they get tips and special make-up gifts with purchase. And, of course, they practice their skills of make-uping everyday (many of them do…).

Well, I certainly did not gain this fundamental knowledge at my Mother’s knee! And while my spouse is an okay resource on the subject, she is not enough. And if you do not have a female mate, ask your girl friends for help! Good friends who are women can be very helpful!

Youtube or other video source are another good resource for finding make-up tips. Here is an example:

When you’re ready, don’t play with make-up, get serious – it will make a difference. You can learn how to apply make-up that will best enhance the female characteristics of your face.

Making it Up as I Go Along

by Carl Scott Harker, author of 50 Great Poems to Read

Pretty little me
      I get to be
anyone I want to,
      as long as it is
true to me
      and I do not
deceive.
I’m honestly
      a man with breasts
wearing make-up
      in a dress
exploring a different
      role to play
in a woman’s way.
Tomorrow in regular wear
      and with face clean
I’ll be back like you
      well, with an expanded view,
and more empathy
      for everyone –
both you and me.
