I know a
Man with breasts
A woman with a penis
She fucks and he nurses.

I know a woman
Who sleeps
With men
And women
And finds love with both.
_____________________________
I know men who
Now wear a woman’s body
And women who wear men’s
And they fight at
The front lines of our wars.
_____________________________
My family has bred
Men who lay with men
Women who lay with women
And we feast together
On holidays
And share the family ties
Of love and fun.

I know the soft, bright art
Of the girl-man
And the quiet competence
Of the male-woman.
_____________________________
Oh, my, 2-spirit friends
And families
And strangers from afar,
I feel the two spirits within me
And they dance
And dance
A billion different steps.
